jojo gahagan died 1957 age 21 a solider in the barricks of cyprus loveing son of the late isabella and george gahagan formily from partick area in glasgow he was raised along with his loveing sisters chrissie and henrietta and alice and james and francess and elizibeth and isabella and my self annie gahagan my loveing brother was killed bye one shot cleaning his rifel out , to us all he was the brother we never got to see him grow up like us all he ment the wold to my mum and dad he was so kind and would help any one in life he also gave his surport to his loveing family as he left to go to cypus my mum was in a mess knowing he was to young to defend for him self but he proved to all he was a hero and in many ways we all know this till this very day that he was our hero and done glasgow proud he had planed to get married later in life but he got engaged before he left to serve cyprus but to us all with shock he would never return my heart skips the beat that my loveing brother will never be here to see me again since then my mum isabella gahgan and my father george have now both passed over they now have my brother and my sisters alice elizibeth and henrietta and chrissie with them all as one my brother i say a prayer evernight for you to let you know im thinking about you ill never forget the love you had to all mum and dad broken the mould when they had you and to me that mould will never mend to me like no other he gave his love just like my brother he was at my wedding in 1956 looking as handsome as ever now as i look at my own pictures of the past i say to my self how time travels fast looking up the sky so blue id be shouting my heart out to you brother dear brother and my loveing family too take care of jojo im allways here for you in my thought and in my prayers jojo is the brother i can never repair he gave his love and served us all heven shall be blessed to have a hero as like no other he is my jojo my big brother he marches on the clouds above to all the ones he loves my darling brother was laid to rest in nicosha where the heven gate awaites for one true brother he is now a peace with my mother and father and sisters bless this hero for he as gone let him shine allways . my prayer dear lord send this prayer to jojo and my family keep them safe in the arms of our dear lord as i lie down too sleep i pray your sole will keep my love too all and the angel delight i say my prayer then id say goodnight. love from your loveing sister annie gahagan .godbless sweet dreams to my big hero { my song for jojo is saved bye the bell }

hi jojo . i read the story of your young life that leaves me with a heavy heart . just like my dad in the second world war . we owe all of the real heroes like you so much . you will never be forgotten .you should be proud of you nephew allan a real heart of gold who has supported me & my family with lovely kind messeges for my dear wee ma sarah who i lost on the 14th november 2007. i will never forget the heartfelt support & words that alan left us .lots of love and memories that one day we will all be with the angels that left us . jim xxx

Oh brave little soldier
Don't you cry
God will sing you a lulliby
Your time was short
But oh so sweet
And one day soon

Noble and brave
Strong and true

God's garden

Hi Uncle Jojo. This is Steph, Annie's granddaughter. I feel sad that I have never had the chance to meet you, I have heard such wonderful things about you. My Gran always speaks of you, and was and always will be so proud of you. I hope you are now at peace, and one day we will meet, say hello to everyone up there for me, 'specially my wee Granny Isa.
